Passions of our life - reason for our existence

East - China - Japan - Korea - Taiwan

All having a culture of hard-work, a tradition of discipline, a history of passion.
Same resonates in their work, in their religion, and in their art - dance, martial arts, music.

The movies tell this story, the books say the same.

Do we just make fun of people of who actually like their work, who actually find a purpose or more fittingly; a passion in their lives.

Or do we start to appreciate such people, or basically appreciate such ideas and start looking inwards trying to find some passion for ourselves.

When we see any such story - it could be a video on youtube - a blog, a news, a tweet - or any of the number of ways internet reaches us - it moves us, and somewhere raises a spark for us to find some passion for us as well.

Eastern countries like Japan and China, and eastern religion Buddhism - characterize this passion without radicalisation in such purity that it is alluring. It is directly reflected in their working hours, and the way this small country has risen from the ashes to stars from 2nd world war.

Writing this in a torment of thoughts and ideas flooding in.

Quick youtube search reveals Japan/China is of course not as hunky-dory and not as successful as it seems from distance. A closed society will always have issues.

Hopefully, I get to visit and spend some time in Japan.
