WHAT HALF-ENGINEERS CHAT ABOUT, AT 6 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING

The birds had started chirruping in the morning breeze, and the purpose (of exploring UBUNTU 9.10 features, for the OSUM MEETUP) of sitting through the entire night wasn't even half solved.

I was shuttling between youtube videos on ubuntu, to reading the various 'reviews' on the karmic koala (that's the name of 9.10 version of UBUNTU), to actually trying out the features myself. I logged in to my gmail at around 5 in the morning, and saw my genius-cum-geek friend online.

He is Pronoy Chopra, my school time buddy, and a 3rd year student of Electronics Engineering at J.P. Guna. And there started an interesting discussion. Something of the sort that Dr. T.P. Sivakumar (Google him if you don't know about him. Trust me, he is worth the effort) would suggest two engineering students to discuss. And presenting before you, straight from the saved chats in the gmail, is the entire chat we had. Of course it's 'censored', Pronoy!....Here we go...

Till 6 o'clock, I had already tried his experiment, and lo and behold! I could see the what it means when parents say in class 12, “U SHUD STUDY AND GET IN A GOOD COLLEGE”. The college atmosphere creates a difference. But we are not going to give up! Till the time we are here, in DAVIET, we are going to shake it hard!

All the students of DAVIET, who read this blog post, please start thinking like these guys in other colleges are thinking. They get the same number of assignments, same number of sessionals, and the teachers are almost same everywhere, so stop giving excuses to yourself! We can create that difference guys, and atleast don't complain when companies give 10-12 lakh packages to students of these colleges, and maybe only 3-4 lakhs to our students.

And Mr. Pronoy, if you are reading this, thanks man! You are continously inspiring me! Just keep wasting your time on people like me. And best of my wishes for all your endeavours!

P.S. : Have you ever thought what a 'Bachelor' of Technology means? I mean 'Bachelor' means 'Unmarried', right? So does B.Tech mean 'unmarried' in technology? Food for thought.
